Privacy
This is a personal portfolio. It has no user accounts, advertising profiles, or checkout. The public portfolio APIs and MCP tools return the same professional information published on the site.
Contact
The contact form sends your name, email address, and message through Resend to Nicolay's email inbox so he can respond. The application does not save contact messages in a database or intentionally log their contents. Resend, the recipient's email provider, and hosting infrastructure process messages or ordinary request metadata under their own privacy practices. Direct contact links open your email client, GitHub, or LinkedIn; clicking a link does not submit the form.
Analytics and hosting logs
The site uses Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to understand aggregate usage and performance. Vercel also processes ordinary request and deployment logs needed to host, secure, and operate the site. Those services may process request, browser, device, network, and performance information under Vercel's terms and privacy practices.
Optional Google Analytics
When configured, Google Analytics 4 loads only after you accept analytics. It uses cookies to measure visits, engagement, reviewed outreach campaign tags, contact-link interactions, and enquiries confirmed by the email service. Contact-link clicks are not completed enquiries. Names, email addresses, message contents, and agent conversations are excluded from analytics events. You can reject analytics or change your choice using Analytics preferences at the bottom of this Privacy page. Rejecting keeps Google Analytics off; withdrawing consent stops collection and clears this site's Google Analytics cookies. Existing Vercel Analytics, performance monitoring, and hosting logs are separate from this optional choice.
Local settings and agent access
Your light or dark theme preference and optional Google Analytics consent choice are stored locally in your browser. When the conversational portfolio agent is enabled and used, the site sets a signed, HTTP-only visitor cookie for abuse prevention and request quotas; it expires after 30 minutes. Public JSON and MCP reads do not require that cookie or an account.
Conversational agent
Questions submitted to the conversational agent are sent to OpenAI to generate a reply. Do not include confidential, sensitive, or personal information. The application does not intentionally write conversation text to its own logs; hosting infrastructure still receives ordinary request metadata. The agent is restricted to questions about Nicolay's public professional profile and portfolio.
